Blend description:

The Pearl’s Purity tincture is based on Zhen Zhu An Chuang Tang, a blend used by traditional Chinese medicine.018_Zhen Zhu An Chuang Tang

This traditional blend is generally used to treat  acne. According to Chinese medicine, our skin is connected to  Fei Qi (lung energy) and the circulation of Jin Ye (body fluids). The formula’s main ingredient is Zhen Zhu, a pearl. Li Shi Zhen, an old Chinese physician, once wrote: “Pearls clear the skin and make it glow, smoothes out wrinkles, and softens the complexion.” Zhen Zhu drains Re (heat) and Du (toxin) away from the skin, makes it glow, and improves its texture.

Effects according to Chinese medicine:

  • drains Du (toxin) from surface levels
  • removes Shi Re (damp-heat) from surface levels
  • breaks Xue Yu (blood stasis)
