Blend description:

The Tom-Tom rumbling tincture is based on Su Zi Jiang Qi Wan, a blend used in traditional Chinese medicine.

This mixture was used by doctors in ancient China to treat weakening Fei (lungs). The factors of Fei attenuation can vary: heredity, polluted environment, recurrent respiratory viral infections, or weather changes. Chinese medicine says that the Pi (spleen), which is weakened by poor eating habits, produces pathological moisture Shi that rises, creating Tan (mucus) and weakening Fei Qi (Qi of the lungs), mainly their downward function. However, there are more of those influences. The mixture is suitable for conditions that Chinese medicine calls emptiness below, and abundance at the top. We added Ku Shen (yellow sophora) to the traditional mixture.

Effects according to Chinese medicine:

  • transforms Tan (mucus)
  • removes Shi (moisture)
  • drawing rebellious Fei Qi away (Qi lungs)
  • strengthens Fei (lungs) and Pi (spleen)
