Ge Hua Jie Cheng Tang

Blend description:

The Drunk Master tincture is based on the traditional Ge Hua Jie Cheng Tang blend.007_Ge Hua Jie Cheng Tang

In ancient China, it was meant to be used primarily by alcohol drinkers, to relieve the acute consequences of overindulging. In our region, this condition is known as a hangover. According to Chinese medicine, the blend removes Shi Re (damp-heat) from the middle energiser.

From a Chinese medicine viewpiont, moderate alcohol consumption benefits the human body, though the individuals constitution and condition must be taken into account. People who suffer from Shi Re (damp-heat)issues should avoid alcohol.

Effects according to Chinese medicine:

  • removes Shi Re(damp and heat) which occurs in the body as a result of alcohol consumption
  • harmonises the centre
  • reinforces Pi (spleen)

Tongue: red (Re), with a greasy yellow furring (Shi Re)

Pulse: may be slippery
